Questions about this system
Is the wireless system as reliable as hardwired?
Yes. T-Link 3.0 has been in the field for years across thousands of race weekends. It runs on a dedicated 250mW link with error correction, and the timing console includes hardwired fallback connectors.
Can I start with a basic system and upgrade later?
Absolutely. The 2710 XL uses the same track electronics, scoreboards, and software hooks as the 2700 XL — you can upgrade the console without replacing the rest of your system.
Do I need XLscore PRO, or is XLscore II enough?
XLscore II is sufficient for bracket and test-and-tune programs. XLscore PRO adds full tower control, 64-car NHRA ladders, and networked scoreboard integration — required for sanctioned events.
