A strip that needs to run a real program, start to finish
This is our entry point into a complete drag racing installation — not a stripped-down timer, but everything a strip needs to stage cars, start them on a professional tree, time them to the finish line, show the numbers to the crowd, and hand each driver a timeslip.
Everything past the console is wireless. The tree, the start line beams, the 60 foot beams, and the end-of-track ET and speed all report over the T-Link link, so there is no long track cable to trench or roll out. That keeps the install cost down and lets the whole system tear down between events if the facility needs it.
No PC required. Timeslips print straight from the console, so the tower can run the night with one operator. Add RA Command Drag later when the program wants PC race management — the electronics and displays carry straight over, and it comes included one step up in the Sportsman package.

Questions about this package
Does this cover 1/4 mile as well as 1/8 mile?
The console and track electronics handle both. For a 1/4 mile strip you'll want to step the scoreboards up to 15" so the numbers stay readable from the stands, and add 1000ft speed and ET detection for the extra split. Both are a straight add to the quote.
What does it take to add software later?
Just the software and a Windows PC — nothing on the track changes. RA Command Drag (3128C) talks to the 2700 XL console you already have, so moving race management to the tower PC is a purchase, not a re-install. It's included as standard in the Sportsman package if you'd rather start there.
Why is everything wireless? Can I hardwire instead?
Wireless keeps the install cost down — no trenching, no cable runs the length of the strip, and the system can be torn down between events. If your facility already has conduit, we can swap the 6017A/6017B wireless packages for the cabled 6013C and 6020C electronics on a custom quote.
What's the next step up?
Sportsman, which keeps this console, tree, and starting line electronics and adds the 330ft split, wireless dual-lane 15" scoreboards — readable to about 660 feet instead of 320, which matters once there are spectators — and RA Command Drag race management software. Above that, Sanctioned Strip moves to the PC-based 2750 XL console with a tri-beam starting line, every split from 60ft to the finish, 24" scoreboards, and 3040A reflector-based detection.
