Precision timing. Real reliability. Modern integration.
Our mission is clear: deliver unmatched accuracy with systems that install fast, run clean all season, and integrate with your operations—today and into the future.
Complete systems for drag racing, road course, oval, autocross, karting and specialty events. Install fast. Operate reliably. Support that actually picks up the phone.
RaceAmerica owns the entire stack: hardware, software, manufacturing, and support. Every system is engineered, designed, and built in-house—from circuit board to trackside deployment. No generic sensors. No shortcuts.
Our job is simple: measure time with absolute precision.
And we do it better than anyone in the world.
While others chase thousandths of a second, we deliver repeatable results at microsecond and nanosecond resolution.
We’re a veteran-owned American company with roots in Silicon Valley and Ohio—but our real home is the track.
We’re racers. We’re there every weekend.
This isn’t just what we do. It’s who we are.
Everyone else added wireless to a wired system. We built the wireless system.
RaceAmerica built the world's first fully wireless drag timing system. Not a wireless accessory bolted onto a cabled console - a complete system where the tree, the starting line, every split position and the finish line all report back over the link, with no track cable to trench, roll out or repair.
Fifteen years of running that at real tracks is the difference between a product that works in a demo and one that works on a Saturday night in the rain. It is why our beams are encoded infrared that ignores sunlight and radio traffic, why every link reports its own status instead of failing silently, and why a system that loses a signal falls back to a safe state rather than freezing on a stale time.
And it was never only timing. The same wireless control drives the safety lights at every corner, the digital flags, the scoreboards and the hand controller in the starter's hand - one system, one link, from the tower to the far end of the track.
See the wireless systemsT-Link 3.0 carries the tree, the start line, every split and the finish. No track cable.
Safety lights, digital flags, scoreboards and hand controllers run on the same wireless system.
Battery and mains power, no conduit, and a setup a crew can put out and pack up in a day.
The 3000A runs hardwired ethernet and wireless together, both live, so losing either does not stop the event.
