Is rollout affected by the aligning of the beams or is it something that can be adjusted within the system? Or both? A couple of us racers are pretty sure the rollout is off at our track. The volunteer staff is learning the entire setup and sometimes struggles with it. Was just wondering what might be a direction to tell them to look at. Thanks.

Rollout is usually effected by the height of the beam where it intersects on the tire. The start beams draw a straight line from emitter to sensor so a few degrees of angle will not effect rollout since the distance beam-to-beam will vary very little.
Check for how flat the start line area is. Check for a crown or difference in height of the beam at one side of the track and the other. You could roll a tire into the beams to compare lane-to-lane difference.
